Born and raised in Colorado Mike attended CU Boulder where he received his Bachelor of Music (Performance) in classical guitar as well as a Master in Jazz Performance and Pedagogy.    Mike also has a Masters in Teaching from Heritage University in Washington State.  Currently performing in a wide variety of settings from jazz to rock to classical he lives in Littleton with his wife Alison, his daughter Sagan (6), son Simon (4) and dog Leo (11).  Mike is a certified Suzuki teacher through book 5 and has been giving lessons in one form or another since 1997.
