My Story
Vincent Ramirez-Boyce holds a Bachelor Degree in Cello Performance from DePaul University, and is currently a Masters student at the University of Denver. At the University he serves as a teaching assistant for Matthew Zalkind, cello professor at the University of Denver Lamont School of Music.
His primary teacher is Matthew Zalkind, and his former teachers include Stephen Balderston, Heather Moncrief Rivera-Torres, and Vilma Peguero.
He holds certifications for Every Child Can, Suzuki Books 1-4 and is currently working on completing his suzuki certifications at the University. His Suzuki mentors include Alice Ann O'neill and Heather Hadley.
Originally from Dallas Texas, Vincent has a deep seated interest in helping underserved communities and working with at risk students. Through lessons he hopes to inspire a love for music, help students realize their full potential, create positive change, and give students a space to succeed.
